Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is an optional service which, if accepted, waives your financial liability for damage to or loss of the Thrifty vehicle provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. LDW includes Theft Protection (TP).

LDW / CDW is mandatory for vehicle groups (M8 / PFAR) Kia Sorento or similar, (L4 / LFAR) Chevrolet Traverse or similar and (V / SVAR) Hyundai H1 or similar.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is an optional service which, if accepted, reduces your financial liability for damage or theft of the Hertz vehicle, its parts and accessories, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. CDW includes Theft Protection (TP).

This option covers the authorized drivers and the passengers.

As with any insurance policy, there are exclusions which affect the cover provided.
